Are there more people about?
I am sure there are more people out and about walking then pre lock down. Not far from us they are parking "half way" along the road in the other direction. A car park we went to yesterday, one side of the road to it was fully used up with parked cars.
We were out for about 2 hours walking today. All the car parks were very busy. The foot paths have become very busy and my wife and I don't like seeing other people when we are out for a walk, we like the being alone, looking around feeling. When in Yorkshire or the Peak District we can walk for "hours" without seeing anyone, it's wonderful. macafee2 |
I went for my normal trek early afternoon and there were considerably less than normal.

Walked the dog this morning on our usual route, saw two people.
Normally we don't see anyone, so yes! It is busier than usual. |
I've not been out much at all until today, it's been blissful not having to bump into folk, but today I went and visited my dad at the cemetery for a good old chat.
I noticed the roads were quite busy, not the usual for a Christmas day I thought. |
Usually see loads of parents and children in the park or on the village green opposite me on Christmas Day (and most other days), but hardly anyone today.

Had a walk down to the beach and half the village were there! All socially distanced so obviously not second homers, who seem to have no idea of the concept!:icon_rolleyes: A happy and hopefully healthy new year to all.

More than usual pedestrian traffic but the Christmas family walk is tradition that seems to have hung on as well as Covid19 exercise. Chris.S very little vehicles around.
