Spurious connector?
 
Now in the reassembly phase of this awful cambelt job. Now, we're all used to the odd clip, bolt or washer being left over, but a whole electrical connector? I've reconnected everything to the manifold and have this:

That right-angled job in the lower middle of the pic currently lacks a home and I can't for the life of me see one for it. If it helps any, pulling back the boot shows that the wires are Blue, Pink and Light Green with no tracers. I can't find that on RAVE either.
I'm guessing it's for a different version of the car and it's always been lurking beneath the throttle body, just waiting for the opportunity to worry somebody, but I could have missed something...

Magic, that's perfect. I've not got that so it's redundant. Shame that MGR didn't fit blanking plugs to the unused connectors...

Much like the unused FBH plugs on the diesels, just stuffed down in front of the battery box, along with the water pipes for it!
