wi fi dongle or wi fi extender
 
Our wi fi extender has packed up and I would like some advice as to which to buy, wi fi extender or a wi fi "dongle".

May need to use it for watching films or football etc but for now it will be for accessing the internet.

Which do you recommend? £40 seems to be enough to buy either.

Wifi extender and make a direct ethernet connection to it
