Rover 75 key remote
 

I have a 75 that has a 2 button key remote which only works when it feels like it, is it possible to get a 3 button after market replacement to get programmed to my car so I can open the boot as well if it will do it, just been given a quote for programming and will need a mortgage to pay for it, any ideas.

your boot should open if you insert the key into the boot lock and turn it clockwise or use the internal button just below the bonnet catch on A pillar pm marinabrian up north he can sort you a replacement or bigg russ at liversedge or you could purchase a good quality key fob and do it your self ps make sure your replace everything even the little transponder chip. am sure someone on here has got the pics and info on how to do it .. it will save you some cash rgds mark
