Mystery 75

I've had an email from a chap in Bracknell

He has bought a commercial property for redevelopment and on the site there is a Rover 75, registration V888ROV.

Does anyone know the owner so that it can avoid getting scrapped?

If you do, let me know and I can pass you the contact number for the property owner

No but if it’s going for scrap I’ll save it!!

This reg is listed to a Rover 75 2.5 contemporary SE in black according to the DVLA, not an 800.

Still well worth saving though.

The reg is definitely V888 ROV?
MOT expired October 2019

Oops, it's a 75, I searched registration v800 and not v888

Registration is worth a bit too!

The landowner has been in touch, the owner of the car has now removed it from the premises, I’ve attached a picture, as you can see this is one loved car and hopefully back on the road soon.

I’m surprised that a car of that calibre was left unattended/abandoned on a commercial site in the first place.

It could easily have “gone astray”
