Yesterday I found ........

...... out that my steering wheel adjusts both up and down AND in and out! I've had this car for three years, tried it when I first got it and it didn't move, so assumed that it had been lost in project drive! It was just a bit stuck! Doh! :duh:

It is a strange effect when you realize you have that ability whilst driving.

Lol, what position was the steering wheel stuck in before you found out? All the way back?

Also, it sure is amazing how few cars have this feature as standard considering how very useful it is! You can buy cars with A/C, satnav, parking sensors, etc... but no ability to move the steering wheel in and out!

An amazing feature :D

Yep and another strange phenomenon as that as soon as the car moves so does the speedometer.

So help me here. Is that standard on all models...e.g. will my ZTT have it?

I had sold the diesel conny after 12 years before I discovered that the front glove box drops down further to access the CD cartridge by simply pressing in at the sides.

Well at least I can now access the CD's better on the V6 :D

This made my day yesterday I moved the steering wheel in astonishment and what a difference it makes always felt the steering wheel was on my knees! How did I not figure this out sooner :D
