Air conditioning pipe rubbed through. Part ID please!

Hi all, could someone point me in the right direction for the part I need to replace the air con pipe which has rubbed through from contact with a rubber hose. It's in the usual place on the 90deg bend, visible when looking down into the engine bay at the front LHS when standing facing the engine. I've looked on Rimmer but can't figure out which pipe I need.

Thanks!

Joe

I have the same issue. I know it’s bern a while for this thread, but was also wondering if this could be repaired with some kind of resin or even cutting and attaching a rubber hose?
Also the rubber pipe which causes this issue needs to be moved away, but I’m struggling to see what I could cable tie this to as everything around it either moves of doesn’t have holes to loop a cable tie though, can anyone advise with this?

Hi Eddie.
this how to tie it back from rubbing it is one of the first things anyone should do when they first get a R40 diesel.

PS the air con pipe close to the compressor clutch/pulley should also be tied back.

If not you are asking for trouble.

Thanks for the pics arctic, I’ll be getting on with this sooner to save the pas pipe from the same date. I’ll be adding this to my to do list, I’m guessing this has been a problem for a while before I bought the car as the hole is pretty big. It’s bizarre that a Rubber pipe can rub through metal!
I think no air con this year, it’s not the end of the world.

I have wondered if the pipe could be repaired in this fashion. Now I know it can be if necessary.---
