Reliable Bodyshop Advice Please

Hi Chaps, Does anyone know who might be able to carry out decent repairs to my 2001 75 Diesel. The problems are:

1. Both rear jacking points corroded.
2. Both rear wheel arches have surface rust.
3. Rear bumper needs a new central moulding and attention to peeling lacquer.
4. Front bumper has lifting paint due to poor previous repair.

I'm reluctant to scrap the car unless absolutely necessary as it has proved to be extremely reliable and comfortable in the 16 years that I've owned it. It is a daily workhorse and is not going to win any prizes for its' appearance, but I just want it safe and looking presentable.

I left a message a week ago with someone called Tom Hobbs who is recommended on the forum but heard nothing. If someone knows a good repairer preferably in The Midlands area I would be grateful. Many thanks.

Persevere with Tom Hobbs, has done many cars (including mine) so knows the cars and the work is faultless.
Tom is s specialist with the metal work and does not offer resprays etc.

Get the metalwork done by Tom Hobbs, I can recommend a couple of excellent paint shops once the car is at that stage.

Although I can do this and most other jobs myself, the old man's tourer is booked in to see Tom Hobbs on Monday.

I've waited about three months, but I'm not bothered, quality workmanship is just that, and when you have seen the finished results of this artisan, you will understand why.

Tom is an in demand sort of person, that in itself speaks volumes to me

I'm sure that this chap makes a good job of fixing bodywork, but unfortunately he does not seem much good at replying to customers enquiries. I have left emails and telephone messages but heard nothing. Will have to try elsewhere.

He’s probably inundated, I mailed him a month ago and I’m still awaiting a reply, Tom will respond, his work is worth waiting for.

There is a great body shop in cromer Andy, buyers. I've known him since he was young his work is excellent and has some cracking lads work for him all mature time served chaps.
At the time I had my MGf painted sills weren't available so one of his chaps made them on an English wheel cant tell it's even had sills now.

Tom could also be on holiday. Its that time of year. I left him a message once and he didn't reply for 2 weeks as he was out the country. I fear he also may be swamped with MG ZT and 75's...

Good news chaps, Tom has got back to me and can fit me in sometime in September. Many thanks for all the helpful suggestions and I'll let you know how I get on.
