Don't fit the metal slave John, the QA is fairly poor ;)

My choice would be LUK or Delphi :)

The Freelander has a slightly longer pipe on the input side, however you can simply put a bend in the pipe, or change it for one from the old slave.

In terms of bleeding the master, I made a pipe up using a quick coupling and the bleed nipple from an old slave to enable the master to be bled in isolation to the slave, works a treat too ;)

Admittedly its a bit fiddly, but I've always managed to use my eezi bleed on the clutch master, using an old modified cap. I've replaced the black condom with an o ring that fits neatly in the cap, 200ml of fluid at about 15 psi and job done. One useful tip, a thin long flat bladed screwdriver is ideal to gently tap the cap loose or nip it up.

A point to note if using the original cap with a rubber o ring in place of the condom.

There is a hole in the top of the cap, which must be blanked off, otherwise the fluid is open to atmosphere and will absorb moisture ;)

I think all brake and clutch reservoirs require a ventilation hole, my understanding of the condom is so the unit can be sold off the shelf ready filled.
