On this day, 60 years ago.
On 15 August 1962, a mere three years after the appearance of the Mini, the Morris 1100 was launched with its revolutionary newly developed Hydrolastic suspension. I bought Jan one of these (think it was actually the 1300) and must say that I was very impressed with it myself.
