Iovox CD 80 button 4 failed so can't complete code

It's in the title really.

Just this morning when I started up the radio asked for code, no problem, I have it! I remember it as well as having it written down as every time I play a CD afterwards it asks for the code to get the radio to work.

Did the first three digits using the 1, 2 and 3 buttons. When I press button 4 to cycle through to the right number, nothing happens, it just stays on zero. So although I know the code, I can't enter it.

Help welcomed.

Giving this a bump as I would really be grateful for any help or do I just need to scrap it?

I drop the front, like to put in a CD, and fiddles with the ribbon connector under the spring loaded flap. I intermittently got the fourth button to work so have radio now.

Just need to remove the code altogether. I found Reebs post on how to do this but it didn't cover the Iovox CD80.

Suggestions welcome.
