That old chestnut... Tyres
Anyone know who's doing the best deal on new tyres for a ZT at the moment?
Thanks in advance. |
Thats a fairly open question.
Pop the tyre size into a search and see what is best result. Prices vary enormously as does quality, budget > premium, cheapest isnt always best, neither is expensive always best! |
www.tyre-shopper.co.uk are well priced and fitted locally, ive used them with no complaints.
Also www.asdatyres.co.uk are good. |

Managed to get a set of 4 a while back for less than 300 quid fitted. |
Well worth going to a local independent, the one a mile down from the road from me is usually within a couple of pounds of these internet companies and the last time I popped into fix a slow puncture he didn't charge me.
Go in armed with what you can get various grades of new tyres for and you might be surprised. My local ATS just shrugged his shoulders when I popped in, he wasn't even bothered to look it up. |
Tyresrus Goodyear Efficentgrip £51. Balanced, fitted and new valve. That was for one. Would have been cheaper if I had 4 tyres.

225 45 18's are fairly expensive.
I've just treated mine to 4 Dunlop sport maxx RT2's. Kwik fit were doing 15% off 4 tyres giving an online fitted price of £419.20. I've run the Nexen N8000's which I've found to be good value and good grip levels. |
I have the roadstone 8000 same tyre different name and can't fault them for the price.
Brand names don't bother me quality is where it counts and I did quite a bit of research before going with the Nexens, and even in the wet the grip is fantastic on the n8000 I also use the nexen nfera on another car and they are excellent also. |
