Rear springs

I desperately need to increase the ride height of my tourer.
I assume replacing the rear springs would be the best way to achieve this.
Can anyone recommend a good yet cost effective set?

Thanks

Hi
Monroe used to do air adjustable shocks which you pumped up with tyre air line this increased ride height but you could return to standard by letting air out had them on a SD1 brilliant
I think they still make them

It's worth checking the ride height is actually correct at the moment - if it's sitting low you should be fine after changing just the springs. :)

It is low. I scrape the bottom of the car when I go over speed bumps!

you may find the rears have snapped their ends off; my original tourer was low and when I got the springs off the ends had snapped off. Not visible until they were off.

Got my last set from Best of British Rover

It'll be blown shocks causing this rather than duff springs won't it??

On the 75 the springs set the ride height - if the springs are snapped, the car will sit low (as both of mine are at the moment).

Where from, what shocks and what springs and for what prices?

Rear springs

I ordered the heavy duty springs as above, £76.50 for the pair, delivered. And anchler shocks from ECP for £36.40 each
