Contempory SE cdti fully loaded from factory

Rover 75 contempy se cdti saloon. 54 reg.

People often say; "Fully loaded" I think this one may be.
From sunroof to full webasto remote parking heater install, hi-line, uprated sound system. 6 cd changer, believe sat nav updated to BMW DVD.(?)
I'm going by memory but can add some pics and find more details.
Car is Ski Blue with starspoke wheels, I think.

Car also has tow bar with electrics and 160 remap

Bad bits -
Out of MOT and will need 2 tyres, otherwise hardly driven since the last MOT pass, nothing major expected.
Couple of small body dings here and there.
Leaky boot somewhere.
Possible electrical gremlin - kbus maybe.
Clutch master weak. Have a new AP master to fit but not fitted.
Car has been stood for some time.

Back story - the car is my brothers (he did lurk this forum some time ago)
He spent a bit of cash on it while he owned it (don't we all)
New springs all round, again, I'll get more details to add to this

It's been standing almost a year at our parents and has to go.

A passer by has offered a couple of hundred quid for it, which my brother is going to accept to get rid - it just seems a crime as a little effort will yield a lovely car and there are so many nice bits on it.

I'd like to keep it myself, even to break it for spares for mine but I don't have a lot of time or space for it.

I told him that I would give first refusal to you of the forum.

If anyone is interested do drop me a PM and we'll go from there.

Regards.

Alan

Don’t break it. Sounds like a lovely car in a lovely colour. Get it back on the road.

alan richard 17th February 2021 11:35

It's waiting here for you Ravinder!

You are absolutely right. It would be a shame.
For just a little time and effort to put it back on the road.

I'm a little stuck for space and never seem to get the time to do what I want to do to my own car.

Tempting though . . .

Seen it on the bay looks lovely got me tempted but I don't think her indoors would suffer another one
To good to break

Too good to break.

Some insider info for the forum.

Connected up the battery last evening. Started up fine, put some air in the back tyres and had a spin around the bypass.
Honestly a nicer drive than my own. Smoother, quieter, more responsive.

A dilemma really. If the eBay ad gets pulled then it means I've had it myself.

Robs advert says it must be trailered away which is legally correct, but if you need to drive it a short distance on the highway to get it onto a trailer it is safe to do so. You can judge how short that distance can be. But has no tax or MOT.

Same boat as you Garry. Not really allowed two of them*

Now listed on eBay as short auction

edit - *-wow, you have 3, Garry! I don't know how you get away with that.

Link didn't work for me. Although I don't know why I'd look. Rather like others, I have two cars, 75 and Alhambra, and two motorcycles. one of which is undergoing substantial work and there's no way I could get away with another Rover 75 until something else goes.
