Being a VW, maybe it's just an anti-social car.

Some mothers seem to think parking like the picture above is the way to do it, there kids open the car doors with no care for any other vehicle and even if the do damage another car they don't even tell the child off. Also a lot of parking spaces seem to be the size of a Euro hatch even in newly constructed car parks yet the average car these days is a lot bigger.

I think parallel parking should be part of the driving test, so many people even with all the parking aids that a lot of people have on there vehicles these day just don't seem to be able to do it and if they do they park in the middle of a space big enough for two cars.

this is why my car is to be found at the far end of the car park away from the shop entrance or in two spaces, near side in one space and off side in another. I know people get quite upset by this but none of them offer to pay for the damage to my car. Sometimes I wont even use the car park if I cant find what I consider to be a suitable space...or spaces :)

I bet 20 minutes would have felt like a life time to her if she had been blocked in.

That doesn't always work. I do that as well and still came back to find the driver's door mirror dangling by the wires one time.
