A question I need to ask.

The more I drive my mg6 the more I smile it just loves to be driven I agree it seems to be more lively than the ZT without having to floor the accelerator peddle 4th gear is just amazing seems usually run out of road before running out of revs handling is as you expect for a mg as well :} best buy out there can pick them up at bargain prices

A lot less weight in the 6 will make it feel more lively.

Ricardo has just informed me that the 6 is actually 50kgs heavier than the 75!

Every day a schoolday as they say :D

What is the output power of the 6?

VVC-Geeza 7th March 2020 22:11

I would imagine if all else is the same, it will be the gearing playing the biggest role, with a aerodynamics having a small benefit (likely to be minuscule in reality). If there is in fact more torque (are the turbos the same?), that will push you into the seat more. EDIT:- just checked, torque is listed as the same, but the emissions are different, 193 to 174 for the 6. Suggest more efficient use of air and fuel .......

I would suggest too, noise and spring rates/damping could also add to the feeling too.
