A driver from Wrexham has been banned for 15 months after being stopped with ELEVEN people in a Ford Focus, four adults and seven children three of which were sitting in the footwells.

people carriers are not new! My mother got 9 of us into a Renault 16 back in the day.

Beats 7 in a triumph herald... Have had 7 also 'in' a 2cv - Ok 2 were standing on the back bumper - still travelled 1.5 miles though... :D

The most alarming thing about that is, there are police out and about in Wrexham:smiley:

When I was about 12 my aunt had a Robin Reliant.

We went on a camping trip to Glendol with...

Audrey and mum in front, my dad, my brother (6) my cousin, (10) and myself in back and...
A scout patrol tent, sleeping bags...etc... :duh:

(Mum and Audrey went home) and we spent a fun filled weekend camping then return journey in the Robin Reliant.

Funnily enough the rear axle on the car went bang a week later!

Seemed ok back then but looks somewhat dangerous now!

14 of us at primary school age taken 30 miles in a Bedford HA van over country roads, 16 in the van!

Then a barbeque at Loch Lomond and prayers, (we heard barbeque and had signed up)

The trip back was worse, I remember condensation running down the van walls.

Also 7 of us in the headmasters Austin A35 saloon going to football matches for the School.
