Repair or Replacement radio module

I have a 75 saloon 2003 with sat nav, the two modules in the boot, have suffered I suspect water damage. The sat nav works with no sound but a display. The head unit has no power indicator ,sound and wont play cd or tapes or radio.
when the unit in the boot XQC100440 is plugged in I can see an orange glow from behind the multiplug block connector so removed as quick as I could.
Would like to keep the original set up.
Are the combined touch screen units from China any good?
Could I get the unit repaired?
Many Thanks.

remove the units and dry them out first. then find the source of the leaks.rear light seals being number one suspect.make sure the sat nav has powered down before unplugging anything if poss.dry out units in airing cupboard or a nice warm place plug back in and then see what happens worth a try and costs nowt
