Changed rear brake pads on Deb's ZTT, adjusted the handbrake while the wheels were off.
Replaced a broken fuel cooler on the blue 75, the plastic bracket was broken, filled the sills with two cans of Dinitrol via the side trim holes (to protect Tom Hobbs repair work) Removed the rear bumper and cleaned up everything behind there before more Dinitrol was applied (I have a severe case of rust paranoia!!) Changed the front wheels on Deb's car to try and find the cause of a nasty wobble above 50mph, thankfully the unions fitted have cured the issue, just have to get the straights onto a wheel balancer now to see which one is the culprit. |
Today I...
I brought the ZT interior down from the loft where it's been for the last six years, I also unearthed the Green door cards and brought them down too. I have a plan to change the headlining to a colour more suited to the trim of the interior, I'll also do the pillar covers front and back in the same material, the contrast between the colours is too much in standard form.

No way she'll do that, but it gives a nice smooth ride at all speeds :} |
Not quite with my ZT, but modified the latches on the rear seats. Having read a couple of posts on the actual problem being that the springy latch becomes disengaged when you slam the seat back up, I made a couple of plates which stop this happening. Just need to fit them both now and find a zipper to zip up the cover and then put the seat back in.
