Gratefulness in worrying times

The football league team I have supported for decades is in a relegation zone
and with Coronavirus a formidable ongoing concern, where to look for solace?

Saviour. My shiny Royal Blue Connie, a constant companion for the last 10 years, just looking at it gives me a fillip.

Anyone else get the same simple feel good factor in these troubled times?

If I lived where you live I would get a feel good factor from drinking Marstons Old Empire. I hope your team avoids relegation, I am going through the same situation with the mighty Tranmere Rovers. :D

Not far off relegation and wear the same colours as your team I think. If so In fact your recent loss kept us in 16th........oh joy!.:getmecoat: As for my shiny? Silver (yep silver!) Connie, every day I walk past her to get in my daily travel-shed (Vectra 2.0 dti Estate) and hesitate, thinking, yeah I'll take her today......but I work in a Supermarket......not good for bodywork! So it's the shed.
But it is comforting to know that she's ready for take off whenever...real feel good factor.:D
