Very early KV6 Classic for scrap?

Today I went to see a T-reg Classic (SE?) saloon as a possible spares or repair job, but turned it down due to severe rot in the rear of the sills and head gasket failure. Some unusual features, headlight washers, and I think a better spec radio, possibly low-line satnav. (should have looked closer and got the VIN number). The interior was imaculate.

It has been on ebay with no bid, but the owners' son will be putting it on again. This mention is so that hopefully one of our specialist breakers might take it rather than it be lost in a normal scrapyard. Location Sheffield.

Both can be repaired, no need to scrap it.

I wouldn't worry about early cars that are at end of life too much, I recall a local member wishing to sell his T registered Connoisseur SE which had every toy under the sun for £500 with a full MOT and ending up breaking it as there was absolutely no interest.

There will come a time in the future when such cars may become desirable, but now is not that time ;)

My thoughts too Brian, time and depleting numbers will make the good ones more desirable in years to come.

As I said, I unfortunately didn't take details when I saw it, but I'm informed by the ebay seller (son of the owner) that it is due to be put up on ebay again.
