Second chance, what would you do?

Below is one of my all time favourite pictures of myself and Jake, taken about 10 years ago now, it is just one of those lovely day moments when the sun shone, the birds sang, the fish bit and my lad was cute enough to fit on my knee and look up at me with the most lovely smile in his eyes....

This is the moment I would return to if I had a second chance wish....

Where and when would you go???

Hi Pete.
That's a lovely picture and one to cherish.
There are a few for me.
One of the kids when we drove to Saint-Raphaël on the Med in 1992 in our Skoda Favorit. It was a long drive from Scotland but to see their eyes at the resort we booked was priceless.
The others were holidays when I was young, it was the only time my folks didn't bicker!!

My mum is fine too but I don't think my dad would have coped if she'd went first.....

We watched "About Time" last night, the film where the male family members can time travel, and it all ended with the dilemma over whether the son should have another child with his wife and not be able to see his dad again, or move on with the future. Tough call - we've not been blessed with kids, but trying to imagine choosing between one generation or the other is a nightmare......
