Hi Chris. You could try William Marston Ltd,Fazely Street, Birmingham. They have got a good reputation. Phone No:-0121-643-9534.You can send for a sample of material if you want to. Not far from where we get our wheels refurbed at £20 a wheel.

Most car upholstery firms do roof linings-whether they would be a source for diy customers??? Chris.S

Have no experience, but have read a recommendation from either this forum or one of the FB groups for our cars. The swatch in the link shows a colour that looks similar to smokestone.

Head lining

Hi, I haven't had to do any of my MGR's but I did my other halve RR P38 headliner and boot carpet, I used this place, based in Sandbach, Cheshire

MARTRIM

Fortunately I could go over and collect, and the warehouse is stuffed to the rafters with material and they sell the spray adhesive as well.

Could I ask which supplier you got the alcantara from?

I would go a completely different way too, I would take a leaf out of Audi’s book and have the lining and the upper trims done in a medium or dark grey, think that would suit an my much better than what was fitted from factory.
