Strange car...
OK, so it's clearly a Hyundai coupe, but... any ideas?
Almost like an Aston Martin badge... :shrug: https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...35c59230c2.jpg |
It's the Hyundai Aspiration coupe. :}

But the badges :shrug: ? |
I was attempting to be funny by calling it Aspiration because of the badges. Unsuccessfully, it seems! :D

Ah sorry. I actually thought there would be a car called that - isn't there an "Aspire" or something? I mean, it's the sort of name the Japanese would come up with, isn't it :rolleyes: |
Cheeky bar stool has the same first three letters as my number plate!

It's a Co Down reg ;) |
It's a 'Genesis' badge, which is Hyundai's luxury brand. No idea of the model though.

Oh thanks! Never heard of it. Now you say that, it had really fancy red leather seats etc inside... |

Yeah... and actually, if you Google the Genesis badge, you won't find one exactly the same as them - for example, they all say "Genesis" in the middle. Oh well. |
It's known as a "tomato" badge... No idea why but was used in the states and a load of people thought it would be a good idea to put it on their coupes.
Don't worry we take the Micky out of them on the Hyundai Coupe Owners Club as well ;) |

When the ex Mrs Noc was given a Saab 900 she said she preferred the turbo model. A quick trip down the local scrappie and for 10 quid I got a spoiler and turbo badge. Fitted them and she was more than happy - she only drove sedately and didn't have a clue what a turbo actually was. :D |

:clap::clap::clap: brilliant! Back in the day (about 30 years ago) when Cozzies were the business, I had a fantasy of putting Sierra 1.1L badges on one, together with thin iron wheels, then having fun with other boy racers on the motorways when they tried to overtake... In my defence, m'lud, I was a salesman back then :o |
