So silly!

Of course they never thought of just letting the cars go through free for a day :duh:

Also it might have been a bit too warm in the booths but, lets face it all they do is sit there.
Try working a proper job in this kind of weather. I used to work demolition
in heat and in cold, try loading a machines bucket with stone all day long or slip sliding on a roof when it`s a snowy white-out
People these days have no clue about real work.
My rant...I`m allowed it`s my birthday ;)

Totally agree with you Ken....They all wanted a day off because of the weather so called in sick.

Also I would not pay £5-60 to go into Wales anyway..

Certainly something I questioned when they announced it, but they obviously think everyone who wanted to go west will now use the alternative pay route, rather than heading round Gloucester.

I work in a mould shop and the aircon does NOTHING. It's like a room full of machines that generate a huge amount of heat to melt the material and I have to stand and work at one, sometimes put my arms in the tooling etc, now that's hot. One job we have to wear heatproof sleeves or we'd get burned. (I like my job, though, maybe they don't, that's why they complain lol)

Yes - they missed a trick there. Could have charged more if it was on the way out of Wales. :D

Wales is a Great place, it's a shame limited work opportunities exist or I would happily move there.

Agreed - one of my favourite places is the Gower Peninsula. And boy did we have a great holiday in mid Wales near Builth Wells

Today my Daughter and i left our pictuesque and wonderful Wales to travel to Birmingham on a dummy run in preperation for when we have to go on tuesday to see Iron Maiden . I can see now why there is a toll on the bridge . What a dirty dank little $hit hole , you should consider your selves lucky we even let you in. Go on give your eyes a rest from the misery and PAY to see our wonderful Wales and why complain about travelling 5 miles to use the other bridge? Its not as if you had to walk.
