customer services

Having worked for BT / Openreach my standard of customer service is high, honest it is. Alas I find BT customer services to be the worst of any company I deal with and I believe it will continue.

A year or more ago a bought a multi meter from Screwfix to measure amperage. Today measuring ohm résistance for the life of me I could not work out how many ohms I was getting. Screwfix help desk not much use and so I did my normal thing, email the CEO.

I have had a holding reply from the CEO and 2 phone calls from his "assistant" The lady was brilliant and is arranging for a replacement meter to be sent to arrive tomorrow. Wow what a breath of fresh air, the young lady spoke to rung someone she thought better qualified and they think the meter may be faulty. With no questions asked about how long I had had the meter she has arranged for a replacement to arrive tomorrow.

Once I have her details I will send a thank you email to her and the CEO and recommend she gets an award.

why cant all customer services be that good?

Just a warning if you ever buy anything here in France.

Customer service here must be the worst in the world.

S.A.V. ( Service apres vente. ) after sales service.

The staff CAN'T be sacked. It's against the law.

They tend to just stand around chatting and if you want some information you to have to practically lever them apart.--:eek::eek:

Try Baxi boiler customer service, diabolical. I tried 3 times to call them tonight and was waiting for so long the battery in the cordless phone went flat. I had to call on my mobile which doesn't include 0300 calls. I was on the wait for over 50 mins.

Have you noticed that some places actually give you a count down.
OK I suppose as it gives to time to shower and have your tea before getting back just in time to ( hopefully. ) talk to someone.
