BMW widescreen Radio

Hi again....

I have a BMW widescreen "Cassette Version" and a BMW GPS system as my GPS system failed due to water damage...

Anyway...couple of questions....

1: The BMW radio is showing in 4:3 do I need a new Video module for 16:9

2: I am able to select CDs from the rover 6 cd changer, and tracks but I do not seem to be getting any sound.

3: I have a BMW BM54 radio Module (while the BMW widescreen is working with the rover radio) does anyone know where I am able to get a round pin to flat pin cable that works on the MGZT.....

1) Yes. With a 16:9 Video Tuner it will display in proper widescreen. It will also allow you to have a split screen satnav which is kinda useful.
2) Laser may be knackered. Maybe swap the changer out. With the BM54, you can use the MP3 changer too
3) Yes. I just bought this very thing only last week. There are lots of cables but this one is the one you need. It converts the round pin to flat pin, also has the two smaller plugs to convert the Rover CD changer wiring to the BMW ones needed to operate the changer with the BM54. It also has the aerial to fakra conversion too.

Video module is in the spare wheel well, next to the BM54 you mentioned you had.
You need a widescreen 16:9 Video Tuner from the E46 / E39 / E38 BMWs.
You can also buy a Hybrid Tuner too which is the same but has a digital TV tuner built in, so you can receive Freeview.
