Six Nations

I have to admit I had a smile on my face yesterday evening. Scotland broke the Twickenham jinx :D My late father would have loved that, he used to get so frustrated watching Scotland that the dog would hide behind the sofa!

Laughed at one of the idiot commentators, the weather was affecting England's game  What, England never played in the rain before?

As an avid Welsh Fan since 1969 I support any team that can beat England. The wheels on their Chariot certainly came off yesterday afternoon.
Eddie needs all the Rescue Services combined to sort this disaster.
Can many of the Saracens crew. Itoje excepted. A mix from Bristol, Exeter, Sale and Wasps would work better.
Don't think Alun Wyn Jones black eye from Jake Ball is the best preparation for this afternoon's game against Ireland. May the best team win, hope it will be a close game.

Bill McLaren will be loving that score up in Rugby heaven. I used to love listening to his rugby commentary.

My father and Bill McLaren were friends both hailing from the rugby town of Hawick in the Scottish Borders. My father used to go to Murrayfield with a friend, Tom, who was in the upper echelons of RBS who were sponsors of the Scotland team, free upmarket tickets! They were at one game and Tom spotted Bill McLaren walking towards them, "oh look, there's Bill McLaren!". Tom was awestruck when Bill McLaren walked straight up to my father, shook his hand "Hello Bob, haven't seen you for a while".

My father was always a rugby lover, played for Hawick in his younger days. He was in line for a trial for Scotland but got a back injury that ended his playing. My rugby career never got beyond playing for my secondary school.

Which is the vast majority of the time. It is nice to see the minnows win occasionally though :getmecoat::getmecoat:

I only like Football when the mighty Swansea beat the lightweight Canaries.
Makes SWMBO very happy as her parents came from Swansea. Made me jump out of my skin when she shouted (loudly) Two nil!!!!! Then realised still 30 minutes to go to Full Time. Happy wife Happy life.
Moreover, Swans and Brentford both have a game in hand over Norwich. :D:D
