Ebay MAF's: any good?

Hi guys,

Need to sort a new MAF.
I wonder if these are any good?

Or shall I go for the BOSCH ones?

Thanks in advance

Go for a genuine Bosch. :}

Just the price should tell you everything you need to know. I believe DMGRS do a Lucas item for a good price. Wouldn't want to spend any less than that on a new MAF. :D

The ONLY maf that works within spec at all engine revs is the correct Bosch one ;)
Even if it has a recognised Brand on it they're all rubbish seen and tested them all ;)

I've seen some so called OEM quality MAF's from eBay way way out of spec...complete rubbish

Thirded, you may as well roll up your money and set fire to it, the result will be the same ;)

The reason the original MAF is expensive is the fact it contains a platinum hot film, you certainly won't find that in these budget ones ;)

Thanks for all the inputs.
Any place that you advice me to buy?

I am also considering buying an EGR bypass. It's best to buy the physical bypass item, or just remove the tube and fit a screw on it?

Kind regards

Maf and EGR bypass

Hi - Bosch is the only MAF to fit - you may be able to find one from a member for a lot less than list price. And I bought an EGR bypass from DMGRS but was then advised by Jules to clean and blank off the existing - so when advised by an expert......that means I've a brand new stainless EGR bypass going spare for £25 if you're interested. PM me if you are.
