Well pleased with these

Recently bought a v6 in firefrost from a member on here, nice low mileage car but the headlights were in a bad state.
Did try cleaning them up but too far gone and gave up! Anyway, thought i would have a quick look on the bay to see what was about, couldn't believe it a set on there that had been refurbished and to top it off the black plastic had been sprayed in firefrost!! They had changed them over to hid's, so just took the wiring out and exchanged the bulbs/ holders. Finally got round to swapping them over today and well chuffed with them. Did think about putting some sealer on them to protect the lenses but a bit unsure if it will look messy. So...what do you think?? |

They look lovely :}.
You need to apply a UV block so yes, some car paintwork sealant is needed. I currently use Britemax Extreme Elements on the ones I do at the Nano's but there's loads to choose from. Even then you'll probably be looking at doing them again in a few years time. The first ones I did are about 3 years old and are showing signs of needing to be done again. For a more durable fix you could go down the plastic film route instead. Good Luck. |
Look good :)
