I am sure a lot of people are happy BoJo is going.
The tories won a landslide election but their behaviour has been disgraceful. How on earth could they be so bad?
Goodness knows what will happen at the next general Election, will Labour win a landslide, some will vote conservative no matter what and so it is those that swing between the two that are up for grabs.

I wonder who the candidates are/will be for the PM role.

Come on MP's, all MP's behave properly and obey the rules.

He probably will not come near it, but I reckon Lord Frost is eminently suitable and would bring a degree of responsibility and respect back to public life (in Westminster). He, after all, did the business with the EU in the end. Not all of it of course, but the other side recognised his depth and character. There's nowt like respect for apparently genuine sincerity and an assured demeanour. That gentleman has depth.

Is this the same Lord Frost……………………hmm………

Frost, not yet a lord, was serving as head of the Scotch Whisky Association in 2016 when he made some comments we bet he wants everyone to forget.

And here comes the punchline: “The European single market gives us that. The European free trade agreements gives us that. Why would we want to depart from that?”

Good question, David !!!

Perhaps I am getting this David Frost mixed up with the Lord Frost ?

Got it in one! The man is fickle and largely failed to stick it to the EU despite his truculent bluster. One of the few who would be as bad as the departing individual.

Yes, the 2022 Lord Frost is going to be furious with the 2016 David Frost !

All critics spot on as expected! Consider the career experience of the noble chap:

Held so many top level positions and had serious influence/experience all over the world.

He has had working relationships at all levels of power for lengthy periods of time.

He knows everybody that matters and, more importantly, many that do not.

Not flashy or given over to trumpet blowing.

Quiet demeanour and doesn’t tolerate blow-hards.

Respectable.

Oh, yes, and he finally closed the open door on EU.

In short, everything that the last one wasn’t, didn’t, or couldn’t.

Are you suggesting BoJo should remain the PM?

Looks like a politics thread to me. With a soupçon of Brexit for added flavour. So it's shut.

Want to talk about the current goings on in Westminster? Go to one of the thousands of other places where you can chat merrily away.

Not here.
