Locking fuel filler cap anyone?
With fuel rarer than long lasting drop links I'm surprised there hasn't yet seemingly been a run on siphoning fuel. Being of a nervous disposition I thought I'd investigate getting a locking fuel filler cap but the only one I can find so far is this hardly a snip at £26, and I would have thought could be opened with any handy paper clip. There are others listed on eBay saying they will fit our motors but when you click on it they say they don't.
So there's a tidy fortune for anyone who can produce a good cap. |

The flap locks and the anti syphon is very good on our cars.

Yours might but mine doesn't. But just found this old thread. Learn something every day about these cars. |

Just found another better thread here: Apparently saloon is much more difficult to get at. Maybe I can now sleep at night. |
Saloons are easy to get at - replaced one on our fleet and it was a 10 minute job. ;) :}
Took me longer to explain to Mrs Noc how to open the fuel filler flap when the locking mechanism failed locked shut and she ran short of fuel and was on the very important business of picking me up from the airport. |
