This is a separate issue from the sounds you have reported. I guess from your report that the engine is reaching the correct running temperature (around 90C), so the poor heating is likely to be due to a silted up matrix or there's an air lock. I'll assume you've bled the system following any related repairs?
So just to be sure, you need to run the Trip Screen Diagnostics to check the running temperature.

If the correct running temperature is confirmed, then the heater matrix may need a flush/descale. Simplest first step is to disconnect the heater supply hoses from the engine and back-flush the matrix by fitting a hosepipe to the outlet hose and giving it a blast through. Reconnect everything and check for improvement.
