Hermes scam +44 7425 232436
 

My wife’s mobile just had a txt purporting to be from Hermes saying “sorry we missed you - please click on the link.

Obviously a scam because it does not “follow on” from the genuine Hermes txts we have received - and not least that we have no outstanding deliveries.

Obviously a scam.

I got this last week. My suspicion was raised by the dot co address, but this could have been a abbreviated address.

My dear Dad ( RIP) has appearently won 825.000 pounds in a international FIFA world Cup draw .. not bad from the grave ? :duh: he had a letter this week .


At least it may have cost them postage !

Had a few Hermes and royal mail recently. Got a new one today from NatWest who we don’t bank with but hey ho.

'Subcharge'? That's a giveaway if ever there was one!
Never trust any correspondence with incorrect or dodgy spellings/grammar.

Get the same thing over here in France too.----Somehow my smart phone realises they are SPAM and posts them up in red letters.---So I just---:spam::twonk: 'Em.----------It also--:no::no::no: so I never see them again.

I had one from "hermes" last week, deleted it and blocked the number straight away.

There is an epidemic of fraud now of all kinds. The internet of things has become like the wild west. All the scam attempts rely on FOMO or FOMAM to goad us into clicking a link without thinking too much about it. I've come close a couple of times. Be suspicious and be careful and good luck to us all.
