TV Series "Vera"
 

So there I was, having my teatime stroll along the prom, when I noticed a lot of activity outside one of our hotels. Tv vans, cameras & film crew scurrying about and............................................... .................................................. ........

Apparently shooting scenes for the tv series "Vera"
Had to ask a lady what it was all about as I've never heard of it.:cool:
So that's George Gently & this, must be something about the NE coast:D

Crikey Ronnie, Vera is a must watch!!

At one time the programme was mainly set in Newcastle and Northumberland , it seems to be covering a bigger area now , it's even been as far south as Middlesbrough :eek:

But the best tv police series in our area has to be Spender with Jimmy Nail.

He had a nice cosworth 👍

They even mentioned Darlington in one episode.:D:D:D

Darlington ? It'll be Yorkshire next !

And Berwick Kailer, the York theatre panto dame was his sidekick.:D:D:D
