Apparently it died after removing the Ronbox.

I think it died from neglect being left in a barn for ages. Did you see all the photos? Also I noticed no interior pics......

unplug the MAF? I wonder if the MAF fitted is a Pierburg (Mercedes van type) one? Not sure if that would cause it not to start, as opposed to run poorly.

That was my thoughts too Alan, I don't have much to do with the pierburg maf as I prefer to keep the Bosch one, you would think the seller would have plugged the box back in and see if the car started?

The same person is/was selling another one, a 75, that one got parked for a long time because the alternator stopped working and he 'couldn't find another'. Seems a frightful waste of cars parked up for the most pointless of reasons.
