A slight change of tack, whilst on a weekend visit to Edinburgh in May of this year, meeting up with some of our Scottish Members in South Queensferry,on the Sunday,I just had to take some shots of the stunningly famous landmark,'The Forth Bridge, absolutely awe-inspiring.
The pics were taken from both sides of the 'Forth' from North & South Queensferry, hope you all enjoy,in particular the 'Scottish' Guys. http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/n...A.jpg~original http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/n...A.jpg~original http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/n...1.jpg~original http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/n...1.jpg~original http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/n...1.jpg~original http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/n...1.jpg~original http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/n...1.jpg~original BEST REGARDS. Running out of superlatives for your pix John
I came over the 'new' Forth Road bridge the day after HM The Queen opened it - as a small boy in father's A55 Cambridge. Nowhere near as interesting as the subject of your photos though! As it happens, I should be crossing the Firth of Forth next Summer (and the Moray Firth too) all being well. As a retirement 'present' for SWMBO, I'm aiming to take her back to one of her favourite caravan sites - down by the beach at Rosemarkie, North of Inverness on the Black Isle. If nothing else, towing a caravan up to Inverness will be a good test for the Rover and marinabrian's Xpower upgrade - the A9 through Aviemore should be very interesting! |
hi John,i must congratulate you on your photographers eye, beutifully put together and the colours are amazing, GARY.
