Jusr fitted new DMGRS engine mount.

The ZT started to vibrate badly whenever it was put into drive and occasionally "clonking" under acceleration so suspected lower engine mount as with bonnet open you could see the whole engine move when put into drive or reverse.

My new one arrived from DMGRS today and was a doodle to fit thanks to Jakg's tutorial.

Quick test drive and all is vibration and knock free.

Cant say was much fun laying on a wet road in the cold and rain doing it though, but did get a sense of satisfaction from doing it myself and not paying someone else.

Always nice to do it yourself if you can. You have only one person to blame if you pucker it up.

Wait till you need to do a front lower arm and bush, I will probably hear your swearing from my house !

I'm glad fitting went well - apart from the wet part! :D
Thankfully they're not so bad to fit, and with mine just having clocked over 100,000 miles you should be able to enjoy a vibration-free car for many years now. :)

i have this job to do tomorrow as mine has started clonking and vibrating more since the crankshaft pulley was recently replaced - not sure if at all related!!
