all I want to know is which code to change to open the boot with a long press of the door open button..

You've got to have the right BCU fitted it not just a case of altering the coding ;)

which BCU PN Russ?

is it possible to upgrade to a message centre IPK if you have the low line BIN in the eeprom and can copy / paste the EWS data from the EWS to the IPK?

(subject to working it all out correctly and not bricking the car!)

That would be really useful for me but a beginner's guide to ZCS coding would be necessary:o

(Another thought - for remote boot release a second string needs changing in addition to the SA string, so presumably this wouldn't help with that particular task?)

No, you can't change ZCS coding on R40 models with this tool sadly :(

No, for the same reason above, the only way you could possibly use this tool for doing that, would be for editing the data within the IPK eeprom to reflect message centre enabling ;)

Brian :D

take it that means multiple values in multiple locations with varying values dependent on multiple equipment combinations (not just a simple bit value change one fits all scenario)??

Ah well, probably for the best as otherwise there could be dozens of bricked 75/ZTs as a result:eek::o

I don't suppose you can code remotes to a BCU with this? Sounds like it can do the digital speedo and fault codes but that's it?
