i filed through mine took a while then snipped it with some cable cutters:}

On Jules very helpful 'how to' re the top hose 'stat he uses a toothed metal cutter, so of to the shops now.

I used a cheap dremel type rotary tool which only cost £15 from halfords and came with a load of attachments. It's labelled as a craft tool set but it managed to cut through the metal band on my top hose. Took about 2 minutes with taking care not to damage the actual hose itself.

It's a stainless steel band so quite tuff, but as Chris says with the "right tool," like butter ;) |
