Rover SD1 restoration project

So I was looking at rovers on Donedeal and came across this SD1. It is still available and he is looking for 200 euros.

Just hoping someone can save her....

Unfortunately Forestt it's a 2600 so prospects are not rosy. Thanks for posting though, I'll bring it to the attention of the SD1 Club membership.

Poor old thing is looking a bit sad.
I wouldnt discount a 2600 in decent nick, they are not much slower than the V8 and the straight 6 has a nice howl too!

Back in their day we had an SD1 2600 as a pool car and I seem to recall that it was a nice place to be a drove well, it certainly was not slow!

I agree chaps but I'm a lone voice amongst a very pro-Vitesse and VDP EFi membership.

It's a bit like a 1.8 75 with Classic trim being referred to here rather unkindly as "poverty spec".
