Mg ZT-T cruise control

Hi guys!
I am new to the forum and this is my first post.

I hope you can help me with my cruiser problem.
Sometimes when I put it on from the central panel, and try to start it from the steering wheel, nothing happens. Sometimes when I get it on it can suddenly just stop working in the middle of driving and the light in dashboard disappears. And sometimes it is just working fine. The light in the central board seems to be working all the time.

Has anyone had similar problems?

The fault probably lies on the brake/clutch pedal, the switch can break free and needs pushing back in! Try lifting the pedal with your foot and see if it engages!

I tried pulling up both pedals but it didn't make any difference.
Only way to get it working after not working is to turn off the engine and starting it again. Then there is a chance it will be working again...

it could be a beak in the wires to the steering wheel controls, it does not sound like the switches on the pedals as they are normally off or on.

While you are going along the slightest touch on either the brake or clutch pedal can turn the cruise off.-----

I was thinking too the wires and connections in the steering wheel.

Is it a big job to check those connections?
