Clutches
Is it still the consensus view that LUK Reposet clutch kits are the way to go - if so can anyone point me in the direction of a kit for a 1.8t. Is it the same clutch Spec for the V6/190?
I recall there was some opinion that Borg and Beck kits were not the standard they one where :shrug: |

Just swapped my Luk slave as it failed within 18 months.
It was exchanged under warranty and was replaced with the magneti marelli item. Was told by the person dealing with it the the Luk slave has gone downhill in quality terms recently. Stan |
You could always buy an automatic then you don't get clutch failure :}
As we all know changing gear is for peasants :D:getmecoat: |

These days we peasants drive 8-speed automatics and cabriolets. :p: |

I still prefer Luk stuff, only one failure in over 15 years of using them.

He will be lucky to find a ztt turbo auto these days!! |
Got my ZT stripped down at the moment and I have just fitted a new DMGRS clutch kit with the Magneti Marelli slave cylinder. All bled up and pedal got a nice feel to it. I just hope these Magneti slave cylinders will last well as the original managed 114k and still came out in one piece!
