This weekend I drove 130 miles in the in the Tourer, parked it up, then did a 20 miles cross country walk over a Mountain Pass with a Duke of Edinburgh group.

Memorable moments included seeing white Mountain Hares, Lapwing, and over 30 Whooper Swans taking off from a loch and heading North, probably to Iceland.

Not so much fun, being Safety at a knee deep river crossing filled with snow melt water, I ended up crossing the river 36 times, it took ages to thaw my feet out....
Then stayed overnight in the minibus, as the Leader had forgotten my tent...slightly cramped would be an understatement.

Today solo climbed a 2600ft mountain on the way out, great views in into truly wild country and the kids had a great time in good weather.

Got a lift back to the car, then home, average of 49.5 mpg on the Ipk, which is usually pretty accurate.

A great weekend! :)

Yesterday . . .

On the 75;
  1. Fixed the passenger seat belt. It wasnt retracting. All sorted now.
  2. Fixed the Airbag light. It was on due to changing the interior but the under seat connectors were a different size. All sorted now.
  3. Removed the windscreen scuttle because the rubber seal where the glass meets the rubber was not fitted properly. It needed to be clicked into place. This caused alot of settlement/gunk, mostly dried moss because the car hasnt moved for some time. All cleaned up now.
  4. Refitted the gear and handbrake gaiters. I was selling them but decided to keep them.

On the ZT;
  1. Fixed the passenger seat belt. It wasnt retracting, same as the 75. All sorted now.
  2. Washed it.

On the TF;
  1. Washed it.
  2. Parked it.
Dinner, teeth, bed. Knackered. :D
