Sad I Know
I treated meself to a spinner handle. Got fed up of making one up only to come apart on some nuts. Sad I know but my better half said why didn't you get one before if it wound you up so much. I couldn't answer her but would advise members who haven't got one to get one. Saves all the hassle of bits coming apart.

Took me ages to find one. Basically it's a screw driver that you plug 1/4 inch sockets into. Why they don't call it a socket screw drive I don't know. Before hand I made one up from a socket kit I have. Handle, socket bit then the socket I needed to use. The problem I had was that they sometimes came apart when using them in small hard to reach spaces. The tool I have now is more firmer fitting thus it doesn't come apart and me dropping the socket in the engine bay somewhere.

The Halfords advanced 1/4 inch drive socket set normally has a screwdriver and ratchet for the sockets, it is often reduced in price and well worth it

A tool that was a hexagon of a single nut size on a screwdriver shaft type tool used to be called "a spinner" all those years ago....
