Yorkshire meet
 
Hi all i am going to get a meeting going at the York Aircraft Museum in the new year if anybody will be interested. please put your names down. Date to be fixed date now going for is Sunday Febuary 20th if thats ok. ADDRESS FOR THE MUSEUM IS AS

I have been in touch with the Air museum and got a dicount on the price the price is £5.00 per car if there is one in or a car full.

Erm, where is the York Aircraft Museum ?

Sadly if it's in York, then it's too far for me, falls outside my 90 min drive limit innit... :o

Believe it would be the Yorkshire Aircraft Museum at Elvington, just off the A64

Superb place, have visited it probably every year for the last 20 - some superb exhibits, and one of the longest runways in Europe - is an emergency strip for the space shuttle and was designed to take B52's carrying Thor missiles I believe.

Yorkshire Air Museum (also of Top Gear fame), to the south of both York and the A64 bypass.
