Key Fob Prob
When I bought my 75 it came with 2 keys, one of which had a damaged fob in that the rubbers covering the switches had worn through.
I purchased a replacement fob from a well known auction site and completed the repair in no time at all, both buttons lighting the indicator LED when pressed. However, when I tried to use it on my car I found that the fob unlocked and locked the car, switched the ignition circuit to position 2, but when I tried to start the car....diddly squat ! the only thing I noticed was that the fuel gauge light went very dim. I tried my other key immediately and the car started as normal ! Anyone else had this problem I wonder ? ta muchly Bilzin |

as above but make sure if you havent put a little bit of bluetack /doublesided tape to hold it in place cos if you lose it it will be expensive

I transferred all the 'gubbins' from the old fob and also the blade....still diddly !
Might have to tie my remaining key to my mittens ! B |

Glad you got it sorted, you wouldn't believe how many members swap th the electronics forgetting the transponder and then throw the old fob case in the bin.... :duh:
