If your ever in Dorset, give Zig Zag hill a go - I fully endorse it :duh: :getmecoat:

The Snake Pass route in the Peak District has had good reviews from the likes of Caterham and Auto Trader. I've never driven it but it does look impressive from what I've seen of it online. Preferences will differ I suppose, some may prefer scenery over speed and driving challenges so what suits one person may not necessarily suit another. Horses for courses as the saying goes.

The road in the Yorkshire Dales between Arncliffe and Malham Tarn - stunning views and inclines to make those with a nervous disposition wet their pants. But a great drive for those in a large powerful car with tons of torque and brakes to match.

I have been there a few times over the years and the drive never fails to please. :}

For me it has to be the road from the A171 at Lockwood beck to Hutton Le Hole via Blakey Ridge.
I managed the northern end of it last weekend but its currently closed at castleton station for bridge works but other than having to watch for sheep its an awesome drive

Dave, I used to live in the High Peak on the edge of the Peak National Park and there are some great driving roads. Easy to get there for you too.....A55-M56-M60-A6.
As mentioned, the Snake Pass is good but also consider the Cat & Fiddle, (watch for the average speed cams :mad:), Long Hill, (Whaley Bridge to Buxton road), A53 Buxton to Leek and even the A515 Buxton to Ashbourne.

Watch out for the bikers on all these roads though Dave :bowdown:
