Air con condenser .. a different question
When I was outside my house the other day and bloke stopped and asked how long I had owned my ZT and do I want any spares for it, just free to take away.
It turns out he owned a 75 some years back and had a few new parts lying about, among them a new air con condenser, never fitted. I seem to remember that the male connectors on the pipes are angled after the seal (as per the picture), I looked at the condenser but where the pipes connect isn't angled to suit the pipe connector, it is just flat inside ... if you know what I mean. My question is to those in the know, is this condenser the correct one? It had cardboard around it with R75 on it but that means diddly really. If it's okay I was going to put it on the shelf as a backup. Any help would be grateful. :} Thanks https://i.postimg.cc/6qbBjdyt/aircon-connector-male.jpg |
Yes, that's right. The angle on the male pipe connector is a lead, not a sealing face.

Hi Steve.
As above Ben just beat me to it, the male is a lead, inside the condenser the hole is flat. https://i.imgur.com/0E72Scil.jpg1 |
But you did it properly Steve, picture and all.
