But he might still be of assistance ;) |
Hi guys,
I no longer work at Clacton Electronics having gone self employed doing commercial photography. So I'm afraid I don't have a workshop and any spare components to carry out repairs. Sorry chaps. |
Worth a try though :xmas-smiley-008:

Plus most of those double dins which that crook Radioguy sold were NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- anyway.
3 of the 4 I bought from him went faulty before the warranty ran out. Then he did a runner. I hope he didn't owe you any money Jeff ?! |
OK, enough of that! ;) We know Voldemort Sean has made real frikking mess of things and abused a lot of people. Water under the bridge?
I was only trying to find a solution for a fellow member. Since Jeff had a lot of experience with these units he seemed like a good choice. Unfortunately he is unable to be of assistance which I completely understand. Can we focus on helping Louis? (This is not intended as a flame, just trying to bring the topic back to the question last raised :)) |
Thanks for the replies guys, I thought I'd just ask the question before I remove the unit and bin it. I'll probably go for a single din unit this time with bluetooth etc so if anyone has any recommendations for single unit with blanking plate i'd be thankful.
Thanks again  |
You might want to consider an xTrons unit. Very decent performance and (if you ask xTrons nicely) you can get the firmware to restore the unit in case of emergency.
Build quality is very good and they simply look great in our cars :) |
